D.Mon's Strengths & Weaknesses

Strengths

  • High horizontal mobility

With PropulsorsPropulsors, D.Mon can fight while making fine positional adjustments, so combining it with BarrierPower Barrier makes it easy to keep enemies off balance. Also, PropulsorsPropulsors's speed can keep up with most support-role movement abilities, so when D.Mon closes in on an enemy support, it's easy to follow up and finish them off.

  • High durability from 325 armor

D.Mon has 325 armor, so at full health D.Mon has considerable durability. Because of this, rather than fighting repeatedly while already low on health, setting up after fully healing once makes it easier to win damage trades.

How to Counter

  • Actively take high ground.

D.Mon has high horizontal mobility but can barely deal damage to enemies on high ground or in the air. So by always holding high positions, you can make one-sided damage trades against D.Mon.

  • Use heroes that can nullify the barrier.

D.Mon has a barrier and can therefore take aggressive forward positions, but heroes that can quickly break the barrier, like Bastion, or heroes strong against barriers, like Ramattra or Symmetra, make it hard for D.Mon to operate.
