Soldier: 76
- ・Soldier: 76's primary fire is hitscan, making it easy to hit Echo. Soldier: 76 can easily secure kills on Echo with his ultimate.

Fires 3 shots at once, in a triangle pattern.
Fire a volley of sticky bombs that detonate after a delay.
Fly forward quickly and then free-fly briefly.
Channel a beam for a few seconds. Deals very high damage to targets under half health.
Become a copy of the targeted enemy hero. They cannot swap heroes for the duration.
Hold jump to glide while falling.
Echo's primary fire and Sticky Bombs
are projectiles with travel time but have no damage falloff, so as a poke hero she can rack up damage from quite far away. Her primary fire also has high DPS, and combined with she performs well as a tank killer.
Although Echo is a poke hero, even when approached she can immediately create distance with Flight
. Since Echo has shields on her HP, she pairs extremely well with a kiting playstyle using Flight
.
While flying, Echo's horizontal movement speed increases by 50%, so by continuing to fly after Flight
she can travel very far very quickly. This lets her return to the fight after respawning much faster than other heroes.
By engaging in close combat right after Echo lands using Flight
, you can apply kill pressure since she has no escape ability. Because Flight
is used for both offense and defense, situations where it's on cooldown and leaves her vulnerable happen frequently.
Echo spends a lot of time in the air, so she takes hitscan damage easily. When there's a hitscan hero on the enemy team, Echo has a harder time making use of Flight
.
Using heroes with abilities that easily nullify Echo's poke, such as Zarya's barrier or Sigma's Experimental Barrier
and Kinetic Grasp
, makes it easier to gain an advantage.
